How do I know if it’s a dental emergency?
Some situations need immediate attention or they might lead to more serious damage.
- Severe, unexplainable toothache
- Knocked-out, cracked, or chipped teeth
- Infection, abscess, or bleeding from your mouth
- Missing filling
- Cracked or broken crown
What do I do if I have an emergency?
Call our office right away for immediate instructions and to set a time to come in to see the dentist. Quick action can prevent the damage from getting worse and requiring more extensive treatment. If you’re not sure it’s an emergency, give us a call. We’ll be glad to walk you through any problem you’re experiencing.
How do I handle an emergency after hours?
If our office is closed, leave a message so we can follow up with you as soon as possible. You may be able to locate an emergency dental clinic that can see you right away. If you can’t quickly find emergency dental services, head to the hospital for temporary assistance until you can get to the dentist.
